A safe and stable bath step, the Red Ashby Step Two has been designed specifically for people living with dementia. The step is used to help those who are less mobile on their feet with getting in and out of a bath. It can be incredibly difficult for people with sore joints or poor balance to step up into a bath unaided. This handy bath step has two heights. On one side, the height is raised by 4 inches, but if turned upside down, the height raises by 6 inches. This is facilitated by the clever reversible design. There is a large textured standing area for both feet, which reduces the chance of slippages occurring. The user can have peace of mind as they get into the bath, as four secure slip-resistant feet help keep the step in place. There is also a built-in carry handle to move it between rooms with ease. The striking red colour has been shown to increase brain activity, stimulating adrenaline production, helping users recognise their surroundings. There are four sturdy grippers to ensure that the bath step is gripped to the floor, as well as a textured surface to prevent slippage A large handle allows the step to be carried or overturned with ease, this is a versatile item that could greatly benefit those living with dementia
